Purpose of the post: To help refugees and host community members to become economically self-sufficient and job-ready, by leading the entire center directed towards providing specific trainings to facilitate for job placement or self-employment opportunities.
Job Description
• Take charge of the entire center operations from managing its establishment to planning, implementation and monitoring all the educational aspects of the center.
• In line with strategy of GNTZ and VETA, develop detailed action plan; design and implement training curriculum and processes for each course.
• Responsible for general control and supervision of duties and responsibilities of other staffs, carry out assessment and evaluation to all staffs at Vocational Training Center, providing guidance and leadership to get the desired performance.
• Ensure delivery of high quality instruction/training, motivational career counseling and students’ welfare within the center.
• Ensure proper utilization and mobilization of all resources (human and non-human): diligently manage logistics, materials/tools/equipment for training, and operations related records and documents.
• Responsible to preserve center environment including safety of center’s properties and surrounding.
• Organize and manage weekly and monthly plan and report.
• Required to follow all regulations and procedures set by Good Neighbors Tanzania.
• Reports to Support Officer of Good Neighbors Tanzania.
• Any other duty as may be assigned by the authority.

Criteria
• At least 5 years of experience working in vocational training or relevant field
• Certificate in Technical/Vocational Education or equivalent
• Fluency in English.
